AERO: Vinci and Terna sign agreement on works at Nikola Tesla Airport worth EUR 262 million
Terna S.A, a subsidiary of the Greek GEK Terna Group, signed an agreement with Vinci Airports, the concessionaire at the Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport, on construction and reconstruction works at the airport, Terna announced. As they announce, the project is part of a Vinci (51%) – Terna (49%) joint venture. The project budget is EUR 262 million and the construction period is five years. he project scope includes a series of infrastructure overhauls, aiming to develop and upgrade the airport’s capacity and operating conditions, enable airlines to offer new routes and increase passenger and cargo traffic in line with Serbia’s economic growth, based on current and future data.

Construction of gas pipeline through Serbia to start in March – First EUR 300 million ready, Serbian companies get considerable part of the job
The general director of the PE Srbijagas, Dusan Bajatovic, said that the construction of the pipeline through Serbia from the Bulgarian border to the Hungarian border should begin in March and that the works should be completed on December 15, 2019. He said on TV Pink that everything was ready for the works to begin, but that they were waiting for the opinion of the Energy Community, which should be made in early February. Bajatovic said that the first EUR 300 million had been secured and that everything was ready for the works to start so that the gas pipeline could be commissioned as soon as January 1, 2020.

ENHL: Energoprojeket contracted EUR 39.2M job in Serbia
Energoprojket (ENHL) reported new contract form Serbia, worth EUR 39.2m. This is about reconstruction works at Mala Krsna railway station and Strazevica-Jajinic-Mala Krsna railroad section. However, it was not notified which part of this job is related only to Energoprojeket, since it acts together with French company Colas Rail.

Belgrade-Budapest high-speed railway by 2023 – Development of 60 road crossings planned as well
The reconstruction of the railway from Belgrade to the Hungarian border, which will bring the traveling speeds up to 200 km/h, will be completed by 2023, stated the general director of Infrastructure of Serbian Railways, Miroljub Jevtic. In his interview with RTS, he said that the works on the railway section from Stara Pazova to Novi Sad would be completed before 2021, which would be followed by the electrification of the railway and the procurement of new vehicles, as per the agreement which was signed with Russian Railways during the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Serbia.

NYSE closed, European stocks close lower after China posts slowest growth in nearly three decades
European stocks closed lower on Monday, after fresh data from China showed its economy grew at its slowest pace since 1990. The pan-European Stoxx 600 index provisionally sank 0.26 percent, with most sectors and major bourses in the red.
Telecommunications shares were among the worst performers on the first trading day of the week, dragged down by the likes of Italy’s Telecom Italia and France’s Orange.
Telecom Italia’s share price declined following news that the domestic communications regulator turned down its plan to spin off its landline network. Orange, meanwhile, dropped 1 percent after the company disputed reports that it was mulling a bid for Spanish competitor Euskaltel.
Looking at individual stocks, German chemicals firm Henkel slumped to the bottom of the Stoxx 600 after it released preliminary financial results and said it would hike investments by around 300 million euros ($341.6 million). The stock had slipped 9.7 percent by the mid-afternoon.
